Lisa Witherspoon is the artist behind Jewel Box Studio. A Vashon Island native, she has called Dockton home since 2008. Her signature work is bold statement necklaces, handcrafted with Czech glass beads, natural gemstones, and sterling silver, gold-filled, and copper. Known for their striking style, her distinctive designs are instantly recognizable to many who have followed her work over the years.

In addition to her necklaces, Lisa creates stackable natural stone bracelets, crystal sun catchers, decoupage seashells, and hand-painted wooden mushrooms. Inspired by her garden, wildlife, insects, and the beaches of Vashon, her work reflects a love of rich color, texture, and unexpected combinations.

A founding organizer of the Dockton Art Walk, Lisa is delighted to welcome visitors to the third annual event. Her work has also been featured during the VIVA Studio Tour, at Vashon Center for the Arts, and in several Vashon boutiques. Whether creating jewelry or other artwork, her goal is to make pieces that are imaginative, beautiful, and distinctive, leaving the wearer or collector with a sense of confidence, joy, and strength.
