Vashon Views Art Glass

Found at Dockton Pottery, 25913 99th Ave SW

I am a Washington native and a University of Washington graduate. I taught junior high math and science in the Seattle area for many years. My husband and I retired to Vashon in Summer 2017, where I am now free to pursue my passion for glass full time.

I began working with stained glass in 2000. I started by making windows for our newly-purchased beach house on Maury Island and gradually added other items to my repertoire. I create installed and free-hanging windows, sidelights, cabinet doors, lamps, tables, fused glass dishes, suncatchers, nightlights, ornaments, and (most recently) mosaic and fused yard art. My garden pieces include steppingstones, birdbaths, stakes, and interior-lit totems.

My very favorite projects are commissions where I work with clients to design exactly the right piece(s) for their setting. I am honored to have several installations on Vashon and elsewhere. You can see a variety of my creations on my website at www.vashonviews.com.
